Dive Sites for Dive Trips in Phuket Thailand
Phuket Thailand offers many dive trips with well preserved dive sites including fringing hard coral reefs, soft coral covered pinnacles, wrecks, mini-walls and caverns. In addition to the abundance of corals and anemones, you may find yourself playing amidst a school of Tuna, Rainbow Runner, or Barracuda. For the lucky ones on dive trips, there is also the chance to see Leopard Shark, Black Tip Reef Shark, and Sting Ray on Phuket Thailand dive sites.
With daily scheduled dive trips departing from Phuket Thailand you can experience all of the best dive sites in the area from the comfort of our own Day Dive Trip Vessel MV Atitara.
Dive Sites of Phuket Thailand
Ko Racha Yai
To the south of Phuket Thailand lies the most visited dive site location. There are several reasons for the popularity of dive trips here including accessibility to the dive sites, calm conditions, snorkeling as well as diving, and beautiful vistas both under the surface of the water and above. Although Racha is perfect for intro dives, refreshers, and training courses, there is also lots of marine life for more experienced divers to enjoy over several varying dive sites.

Ko Racha Noi
Another hour to the south of Racha Yai Island and Phuket lies Ko Racha Noi, where the excitement levels rise. Often likened to the Similan Islands, a dive trip here is more advanced than a dive trip at its sister island as Racha Noi has submerged pinnacles, current washed boulder sites, soft corals, and the chance of larger pelagic fish. For the less experienced however, there are also gentle sloping coral reefs and white sandy bays ideal for training.

Dive Trip to Shark Point Marine Reserve Phuket Thailand
Around 10 miles to the east of Phuket Thailand and you enter the Shark Point (or Hin Musang in Thai) Marine reserve. With 4 dive sites available for dive trips between Phuket and Phi Phi this group has some of the most beautiful and yet varied diving in the Phuket Thailand area. With mini-walls, a large wreck, submerged pinnacles, pelagics, and macro life this reserve will always deliver as a top dive site.

Phi Phi National Park Dive Sites
Around 25 miles east of Phuket Thailand lie the world-famous Phi Phi Islands, perhaps best known for their appearance alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie "The Beach". But dipping below the water with a dive trip here will present all levels of scuba diver with some fantastic diving, with hard and soft corals, sharks, rays, and vast numbers of reef fish. And between dive sites you will be surrounded by some of the most spectacular above surface scenery in the Phuket Thailand area. Genuinely staggering!
